The university was born in 2006 in a green, peaceful, historically and academically famous location of Kotbari. As a young university, we have the energy and optimism of youth to make our university a place for high-quality learning, teaching, research, and innovation. We are committed to delivering learning that is constructive, authentic, meaningful, and life-long, and that engages our students. Furthermore, being a young university, we have a tremendous potential to contribute to nation's socio-economic development through leading scholarly research in science, technology, business, and community enrichment.  We will continue to deliver learning, innovation and research that our students need to survive and succeed. We are focused to contribute to the development of our beloved motherland by educating Bangladesh’s future leaders, innovators, and thinkers. We will support our students to succeed and prepare them to be leaders - in every sector, be it in government, corporate, NGOs, or academia - who will proudly serve the nation through their merit and patriotism, and, thereby, contribute to delivering sustainable outcomes for the economy, society, and environment for current and future generations by integrating morality and ethical practices. We believe that research is the core component of a university. Guided by this belief, we have a vision to make our university a key institute to lead research that impacts positively on today's local, national, and global challenges. Our research will be broad-based that may include issues such as how to address the socio-economic challenges, how to make the world a peaceful place for everyone, and how to build national competitiveness and foster healthy communities.
