Gazi Medical College & Hospital, situated at A 19-21, Mazid Sarani, Sonadanga, Khulna, Bangladesh which is established in 2011 and offering the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree under Rajshahi University, Rajshahi Medical University and Sheikh Hasina Medical University, Khulna, Bangladesh.
The approved seat no. is 100 and number of total student- 517. The Ministry of Health & Family Welfare approved academic session upto 2024-2025 and BM&DC is upto 2019-2020 and Khulna Sheikh Hasina Medical University approved upto 2023-2024. Gazi medical college has been awarded "International Socrates Award 2015" in the category of "Best Medical College" by Europe Business Assembly (EBA) in 2015 held in Cannes France
1988./
With a commitment to serve people in an international standard and ensure the modern healthcare of people of Khulna along with the southern part of Bangladesh, Dr. Gazi Mizanur Rahman established Khulna Surgical and Medical Hospital in 1988. It started with only six beds in the name of Khulna Surgical & Medical Hospital Pvt. Ltd.
2011-2014./
Though started as a small clinic, it has developed with keeping the best quality of service and as per local demands gradually increased its capacity of beds to 250 in 2011 and finally reached 500 beds in 2014 with all teaching facilities for the students. In 2011, as a pioneer of private medical college avenue in Khulna city the hospital spreads its new wing Gazi Medical College approved by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Bangladesh with an offer of a five-year course, approved by the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BM&DC), leading to a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree under the affiliation of Rajshahi University with 50 students intake per year.
2015-2023./
In 2015, Gazi Medical College got permission from relevant authority to admit 100 students each year. The institute has another wing for Nursing education GMR Nursing Institute approved by the Bangladesh Nursing Council and the Directorate of Nurses Services (DNS).

Requirements for Application
The requirements for application and admission in Gazi Medical College are as per rules stipulated from DGHS, People's Republic of Bangladesh.
Attested photocopies for the following documents must be submitted with the application
SSC certificate or its equivalent certificate.
Testimonial (both SSC & HSC) from Headmaster/Principal.
Marks sheet of SSC & HSC Examinations or its equivalent examinations.
Nationality Certificates by appropriate authority/photocopy of national ID card.
06(six) copies of recent passport size photograph(attested).
Self declaration about financial ability and agreement about future payment to the Gazi Medical College from the legal guardian.
Selection Procedure
Selection of students will be made on the basis of the results of the written examination or as per rules stipulated from DGHS, Peoples Republic of Bangladesh. Locally, the emphasis will be given on merit and financial capability of the applicants.
Applications for admission must be submitted on the prescribed form obtainable from the college office, Gazi Medical College, Khulna.
The prescribed application form duly filled in must reach the office along with the acknowledgement slip for non-refundable application fee of Tk. 1000(Taka One Thousand) only.
Application form submitted without receipt of application fee will not be accepted.
