Khulna Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah University, also known as KKBAU. It is an eminent pleasure to announce that Khulna Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah University (KKBAU) is one of the few leading and promising private Universities in Khulna, Bangladesh. Khulna Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah University got its approval from UGC in 2018 and is located at 140 Khulna Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah Road, Boyra, Khulna, Bangladesh

 It started its noble academic journey in 2022 under the remarkable direction of the UGC. The University comprises three Faculties under which five Departments offer degrees like B.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering, B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and Business Administration, English and Information Science, and Library Management. Very recently, about 2.24 acres of land have been purchased as the main campus area to construct modern civil infrastructure, develop its ongoing research and education, and expand the scope of opening a few new Departments. Dhaka Ahsania Mission is the pioneer of this University. Dhaka Ahsania Mission visualizes a society that fosters humanity, spirituality, equality, and caring for nature. It has functioned since 1958, pursuing the social and spiritual development of the entire human community. To fulfill its vision, the Mission has founded famously known educational, Health, economic and social institutions like Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST), Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah Teachers Training College (KATTC), Ahsanullah Institute of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (AITVET), Ahsania Mission Cancer & General Hospital (AMCGH), Uttara, Ahsania E Solutions (AES), Ahsania Mission Book Distribution House (AMBDH), etc. The University is now steered to play a leading role in Sciences, business, and the arts, aiming to face the Fourth Industrial Revolution with quality education and perpetual research. The officials and employees are also qualified, skilled, and communicative. 

KKBAU is firmly marching in the right direction, providing holistic education to the future generation and playing a positive role in nation-building. Keeping the demands of the digital era in mind, under our short-term plan, we have started orienting our programs to meet the requirements of different accreditation bodies. KKBAU will implement outcome-based education, modernize its curriculum, and strengthen industry-academia linkage to achieve this. Our campus will continue to strive for excellence in higher education and instill moral values in our students with even more enthusiasm in the future. 

Objectives of the Khulna Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah University (KKBAU) are to:

1. offer need based programs in science, technology, business, humanities, law, and social sciences for the growing needs of the students in the university;

2. develop programs examining the modern trends on the need and development of science, technology, business, humanities, law, social sciences and human resources development; monitoring carefully the employment opportunities and market needs both at home and abroad;

3. go for gradual expansion of academic departments and programs of learning as per rules and regulations of Private University Act, 2010 and in accordance with the needs of the country and the demand abroad;

4. establish links and networks with other universities and organizations at home and abroad, where such partnerships can lead to intensive research and teaching;

5. create a congenial and stimulating academic environment where the efficacy of intellect will be exercised and proper responsibilities will be carried out;

6. nurture highly professional fields of learning and essential branches of human knowledge and wisdom; and

7. explore the ways of intellectual pursuit, scientific success, technological achievement, liberal education, entrepreneurial and managerial scopes.

Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) established this Private University in 2018 as per permission accorded by the Ministry of Education and the University Grants Commission of Bangladesh. The university got the permission from the University Grants Commission in 2022 to launch its academic activities. Accordingly, KKBAU started its academic activities by admitting students in different Departments and commenced the classes in January 2023.
