This program will give a good profile of talents of both male & female student in technical field by proving their better performance in medical education in aa separate environment for the graduates who can give more time in this field. From time immemorial, Cumilla is famous for education and the name of Mainamoti is famous to all of Bangladesh. Cumilla is called the seat of learning. Year after year people of Cumilla showed their merit & proved intellect in various sectors. Side by side, for diffusion education, especially medical education, some of the non-government medical colleges have been established by this time in Cumilla and in comparison "Mainamoti Medical College" stands at the top because of giving proper education to students, maintaining discipline and security. Even the foreigners feel at home her. Suitable environment along with the status of the college is very much congenial. The Mainamoti Medical College based on new purpose built buildings which offer state of the art learning facilities. These include libraries, study rooms, lecture theatres and auditoriums. A number of distinguished teachers have joined in each faculty to meet the demand of education of the increasing number of students. It is situated within the heart of the City Corporation with a very beautiful campus nearby Cumilla Medical College. At the beginning of 1990, practical thinking for establishing non government medical colleges started functioning parallel to government medical colleges. In consequence of this in 2011 Mainamoti Medical College was established in Cumilla. Mainamoti Medical College & Hospital achieved international value by giving admission of foreign students at the end of five years & committed to give highest treatment facilities to the people. This delighted achievement makes me inspired to do more & more. By this time the result of Final Prof. MBBS examination of 1st & 2nd batch is published and 72% students came out successful as doctors, out of them 2 students got honors mark.

Aim

The Aim of this Medical College & Hospital is to teach selected candidates for five academic years according to the syllabus laid down by Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council ( BM&DC ) for MBBS degree to be a conferred by Chattagram Medical University, Bangladesh and then impart training of closely supervised internship for one year to create high quality career as doctor for nation.

Objectives

- To promote and provide studies in medical science leading to recognized graduate and post graduate degree.

- To conduct research work on the diseade prevalent in the country.

- To conduct research on medical education with the aim of raising the student of medical education in the country.

Admission Essentials

Requirements for Session 2019 -2020

Eligibility of candidates is as follwas:

a) Students who have passed SSC in 2016 and HSC in 2018 0r 2015 and 2017 respectively and should have total GPA 9.00. (minimum requirement of GPA in SSC or HSC IS 3.50)

b) All tribal students and residents of Hilly District who have passed SSC in 2016 and HSC in 2018 or 2015 and 2017 respectively and should have total GPA 8.00. ( minimum requirment of GPA in SSC or HSC is 3.00 )

Admission Process

Director General of Health Service of Government of Banglaseh has conducted a central written admission test at national level . to find out eligible candidates for admission on the government and non-goverment medicl colleges for the session 2018-2019 . They have published a merit list for eligible cadidates . Those who will apply from this list to get admission in Mainamoti Medical College will be selected by college authority according to their merites.

College Fees (General)

Information regarding admission fees and others including hostel accommodation fees for the session 2018-2019 will be available in college office.

Mode of Payment

All payment will be made by PAY ORDER in favor of " Mainamoti Medical College & Hospital , Comilla"

Documents to be submitted by the candidate with the application from For admission 1st year MBBS class the local students will apply in prescribed form ( To be collected from office ) and submit along with the following documents-

a) Attested photocopy of S.S.C & H.S.C / Equivalent Mark Sheets / Academic Transcript.

b) Attested photocopy of S.S.C & H.S.C / Equivalent Examination Certificate / Testimonial.

c) 4 (Four) copies of recent passport size attested photographs.

At the time of admission all the orginal documents will be retained by the college untill verification or passing of 1st professional examination whichever is latter.
