About University
Primeasia University (PaU) was founded in 2003 on August 26 with a vision to provide excellent education and research opportunities for the students and faculty. It was established under the Private University Act, 1992 (as amended in 1998), and was approved and recognized by the Ministry of Education, the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, and the University Grants Commission (UGC) of Bangladesh
The University is governed by a board of trustees constituted as per the Private Universities Act 2010. Primeasia University is a member of the Association of Private Universities in Bangladesh. The intent was to maximize the potential of each student in a competitive environment. In turn, this would facilitate the economic growth and development of Bangladesh. The rise of Primeasia has been phenomenal since its inception, with its current cutting-edge enrollment of almost 4,000 students, about 200 highly qualified faculty members, more than 60 well-equipped modern labs, and a fully digitalized library. The University has proudly produced around 10,000 graduates and contributed directly to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of Bangladesh. Cinque TerrePrimeasia University is one of the renowned educational institutions in Bangladesh that follows an outcome-based curriculum to ensure a more intuitive and robust pedagogy. The University strongly maintains and completes the activities of the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) with the utmost significance to provide quality education.
The University aims to prepare sound human resources both academically and professionally to withstand the practical world outside of its boundaries. In addition to offering theoretical knowledge, the University works on giving its students practical experience by arranging industrial placements and internships. Since its inauguration, the University has played an exemplary role in channeling human resources into education, business, and services. The fact that graduates have earned much-needed practical knowledge during their university life is a great bonus for them when they cater to the job market. With more than 10,000 alumni worldwide, it's no wonder that our graduates are leaders in fields such as research, science, technology, engineering, business, and law. Our graduates are exceptional professionals who work in a variety of industries, including government, nonprofit, private, business, education, health, ICT, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, hospitality, and RMG. At the time of graduation, more than 90% of our students have jobs or are scheduled for interviews. Cinque TerreWe believe that knowledge cannot just be gained inside classrooms and, thus, encourage students to participate in various co-curricular and extracurricular activities. There are 17 academic and non-academic clubs that are continuously ensuring students’ interests in learning about science and technology, developing students’ communicative abilities, encouraging their creativity in arts and culture, engagement in sports, and community responsibilities. Their activities are often featured in the newsletter of the University. These Campus Life activities also create a unified relationship between the teachers, students, and alumni. In addition, the University has access to psychosocial counseling services for the mental health support of our students and employees.
We are actively working to keep up our academic partnerships and collaboration with more than 100 international institutions around the world to get prioritized in the admission process and also secure funding and scholarships for our students, graduates, teachers, and employees. Faculty members at Primeasia University are actively engaged in research, community service, and publishing scholarly papers in peer-reviewed journals. The University organizes seminars, symposiums, workshops, and research colloquiums regularly. Renowned faculty members often present papers at international conferences and symposiums. The University regularly publishes its journals to encourage faculty-led research and scientific work. Primeasia University has four schools that provide fourteen different degree programs. Additionally, it has an institute (proposed) to offer certificates and diplomas in different languages. Our programs are also accredited by the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB), the Pharmacy Council of Bangladesh (PCB), and the Bangladesh Bar Council.

Admission Essentials
FOR UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMS
A student should have at least second division or minimum GPA 2.50 in both SSC & HSC examinations or a minimum GPA of 2.00 in SSC or in HSC,combined total being not lower than 6.00.
A student must have at least 5 subjects in O level and 2 subjects in A Level (Must have B or GPA 4 in 4 subjects and C or GPA 3.5 in 3 subjects) in the scale of A=5, B=4, C=3, D=2, E=1.
Diploma holders are eligible to take admission in Textile, EEE, CSE, Architecture, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Public Health Nutrition (PHN) and Intl. Tourism and Hospitality Management (ITHM).{Course waiver allowed for Diploma holders for admission in B.Sc programs}
Textile, EEE, CSE, Architecture Candidates must have Math in HSC.
Pharmacy must have Biology in HSC. (Pharmacy candidates must have to pass Math in HSC Otherwise they will have to pass a non-credit course in Math in 1st semester)
Microbiology, Biochemistry, Public Health Nutrition candidates must have Biology in HSC.(HSC in Science , 3-year Diploma Course in Medical Science ,Nursing and Agriculture are eligible to apply for admission in B.Sc.(Hons).
FOR POSTGRADUATE PROGRAMS
MBA (Regular): At Least a Bachelor degree with minimum 2nd Division/class or CGPA 2.00.
MBA (Executive): At Least a Bachelor degree with minimum 2nd division/class or CGPA 2.00 and 2 years work experience in any organization.
MBA One year (special course waiver available for BBA & ITHM students): At least 4-years BBA AND ITHM degree with a minimum CGPA 2.80.
M. Pharm: At least B. Pharm (Hons.) with minimum 2nd Division/class or CGPA 2.50
MS. in Microbiology: At least a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Microbiology, Graduates in Biological Science, Biomedical science and Medical science or equivalent degree.
ADMISSION PROCEDURE
The completed application form must be submitted to the Admission Office with the following documents:
Photo copies of all academic certificates and mark sheets.
Photo copies of NID & Birth Certificate.
Three copies of recent passport size photographs.
Admission Form on payment of Tk. 1000.00
Admission Fee: TK. 15,000.00 (Non Refundable).
At least two years Job experience certificate (only for executive MBA).
Appeared student may also apply for conditional admission.
