About University

The ZNRF University of Management Sciences (ZUMS) was established in 2018 under the Private University Act 2010. It is one of the very few private universities in Bangladesh initiated by a nonprofit charitable foundation with a single funding benefactor, the Zubaidur and Nargis Rahman Foundation (ZNRF). The university has been conceptualized and designed as a leading higher learning institution with the objective of imparting educational programs to advance knowledge and educate students in management, technology and other areas of scholarship that will best serve the Bangladesh economy and the world in the 21st century.

The ZNRF University of Management Sciences (ZUMS) is a not-for-profit higher educational institution approved by the Bangladesh Government and University Grants Commission. Not many private universities in Bangladesh can point to one Charitable Foundation as their single founding benefactor. ZUMS was established by the single patron Zubaidur & Nargis Rahman Foundation (ZNRF) in 2018 in accordance with the prevailing legal requirements in Bangladesh.
