Northern (Pvt.) Medical College, Burirhat Road, Rangpur, is the first Private Medical College in north Bengal and started its Journey from 2000. Privatization in Medical service is now encouraged by our Government to meet the increasing demand of our increasing population mass. We have highly qualified teaching stuffs and all modern teaching aids to teach our student. For practical learning we have a 500 beded hospital with well established and independent departments in all discipline of Medical science for the graduate MBBS students. Our hospital is capable of treating patient of all discipline and to teach our students and doctors. Ours students already have passed final M.B.B.S examination and doing Internship in our Medical College Hospital. This is a BMDC recognized institute and all professional MBBS examination under Rajshahi University are being held here. We have attractive hostel facilities and students are enjoying all national days and participating in all types of sports, both indoor & outdoor. We have a nice looking library with collection of latest edition of original books with internet facilities. A large number of national & international journals are available in the library. In 2000, Journey was started with only 30 students but we are expecting to admit 100 students in 2013 – 2014 session with some of foreign students also.
